建物全景。既存建物のボリューム感を活かし、2階部分をBYDキューブと呼ばれるパネル素材で再構築した。

Overall view of the building. The second floor was reconstructed with a panel material called BYD cube, taking advantage of the volume of the existing building.

夕景全景。BYDキューブのライン照明が発光し、建物自体がサインとなる計画。

大型の光幕天井が施された納車室。指定デザインの6KW充電器とグラフィックパネルも実装される。

The room to deliver the car is applied with a light-membrane ceiling. The specified 6KW charger and graphic panel will also installed here.

大分市で設計監理を行った、電気自動車メーカーBYDのショールームの改修工事です。
既存建物は住設機器の展示場跡地であり、スケルトンの大空間に対し自動車ショールームの機能を新たにレイアウトしました。
外観は、既存建物のボリューム感を活かしながら、BYDキューブと呼ばれる浮遊感のある直方体をデザインし、建物自体がメーカーCIを体現するような、近未来感のある建物イメージを具現化しました。
ショールーム内部空間は、ライトグレーを基調としたトーンで纏め、道路側に面する開口部沿いに全長13mの光幕天井を設けることにより室内の奥行き感を強調しています。機能的にレイアウトされた商談スペースや納車室と連動し、イメージの刷新された店舗が完成しました。

It is a showroom renovation for BYD, an electric car manufacturer, which we designed and supervised in Oita City.
The existing building was used as a display space for housing equipment, but we newly laid out the functions of an automobile showroom against the spacious space.
For the exterior, we designed a floating rectangular body called the BYD cube while utilizing the volume of the existing building. It has created a building with a futuristic feel, in which the building embodies the CI of the manufacturer.
We have integrated the interior spaces with light gray as the tone. In addition, a 13-meter-long light-membrane ceiling along the opening facing the street side emphasizes the sense of depth in the room. The functionally laid out business meeting space is linked to the car delivery room, completing a store with a renewed image.
