店舗棟(既存棟)と工場棟(新築棟)を同色に纏め、既存の瓦屋根と石壁がより際立つ外観とした。

The existing store building and the newly built factory were combined in the same color, making the existing tiled roof and stone walls stand out more prominently.

特徴的な茶系のマテリアルと半円状の外壁がアクセントとなり、柔らかい印象を与える。

The distinctive brownish materials and semi-circular exterior walls accentuate the soft impression.

長さ60mの工場棟は、マスなボリュームを保ちつつ、敷地の高低差に合わせ各作業場の床レベルを調整した。

It adjusted the floor level of each workshop to the different elevations of the site, while the 60-meter-long factory building was designed to maintain a single mass-like volume.

夜に溶け込む黒色の外壁やパネルを背景に、内照式のサインと店舗内部の灯りが浮き立つ。

The internally illuminated sign and the lights inside the store stand out against the black exterior walls and panels that blend in at night.

受付カウンターの角にアールをかける事で、半円状の商談スペースと馴染ませつつ、人の流れを誘導する。

The reception counter has an arched to blend in with the semi-circular business meeting space and guide the flow of people.

商談スペースはワントーンに纏める事で、北向きの開口部から入る光が強調され、空間全体に柔らかく広がる。

The business meeting space has a uniform color tone, so light entering through the north-facing opening spreads softly.

待合スペースは商談スペースと一体で繋がりながらも、性質の異なる落ち着いた雰囲気を持つ空間とした。

The waiting space is connected to the business meeting space but has a calm atmosphere of a different character.

コーティングスペースには、作業を眺めながら待ち時間を過ごせる待合カウンターを設けた。

The coating workspace has a waiting counter where visitors can watch the work.

効率的かつ必要十分な面積の平面形状とし、熱環境向上の為、高速シートシャッターを設けた。

The maintenance shop has an efficient flat shape that provides sufficient necessary area and is equipped with high-speed sheet shutters to improve the thermal environment.

撮影スペースは壁・床の仕上をニュートラルな色味とし、光が均一になるよう計画した。

We planned the photographic booth so that the walls and floor finishes would be neutral in color and the light would be uniform.

VERNO CARLA 豊川店

【愛知県豊川市】

豊川街道沿いに位置する、改修と建替えによるVERNO CARLA新店舗の計画です。
計画地には4棟の既存建物が並んでいた為、豊川街道に最も近接する1棟のみを改修し店舗棟として再利用。残りの3棟を解体し生まれた空間に、様々な作業用途(整備・仕上・撮影・コーティング等)を包含する長さ約60ｍの工場棟を計画しました。
田畑に囲まれた穏やかな空気感を持つロードサイドの店舗である為、地域の人々が親しみを持てるよう、既存建物の特徴的な瓦屋根や石壁を持つ半円形状を残す事で、柔らかさと温かみを持つ意匠としました。
内部は仕上や家具、天井高さを操作し空間の印象を変えることで、受付・商談・待合を一体の空間でありながらも明確にゾーン分けを行いました。
落ち着いた待合スペースから明るく開放的な商談スペースへ移動する事によって、より心地良く商談が行える店舗を目指しました。

It is a project of existing buildings renovated and reconstructed for a new VERNO CARLA store on a prefecture road,” Toyokawa Kaido.”
Since there were four existing buildings on the proposed site, only the one building closest to the prefectural road was renovated and reused as a retail building. In the space created by the demolition of the remaining three buildings, a 60-m-long factory building was planned to accommodate a variety of work uses (maintenance, finishing, photography, coating, etc.).
As a roadside store with a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by fields, the semi-circular shape of the existing building with its characteristic tiled roof and stone walls was retained to create a design with softness and warmth so that residents would feel familiar with the building.
Inside, we divided into the reception, business meeting, and waiting areas by manipulating finishes, furniture, and ceiling height to change the impression of each space while maintaining a unified look.
We aimed to create a store comfortable for business meetings by setting up a business negotiation space in a bright, open space from the calm waiting area.
